Walk & Talk - Bertrand's Conservation Covenant Property

Graeme and Ina Bertrand have invited members and friends to visit their 300 acre Spring Hill property which is under a Trust For Nature Conservation Covenant and has been under Graeme and Ina’s care for many decades. Ina’s father used the property as a timber resource for his timber business for many years.

We will be shown a range of native orchids which are flowering at this time of the year., in addition to the native plants that have been identified over time. The methods that Graeme and Ina use to control weeds on the property will also be described.

If you wish to bring something to eat and drink after the visit, you would be most welcome to retire to the verandah.

Members will receive address details by email.
